Suffering and illness can be among the greatest problems that trouble the human spirit. The sacrament of anointing of the sick can help us face our suffering and pain with greater courage. We know Christ often visited and healed the sick during his life on earth. The Church models His life not only in visiting those who are in poor health, but also by raising them up through the sacrament of anointing and nourishing them with the sacrament of the Eucharist.
This sacrament is celebrated as needed and several times per year in a communal service. Our priests welcome the opportunity to visit the sick, homebound, or hospitalized of our parish family.
